Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests as they enter the restaurant with a warm and friendly smile
Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
Engage in conversation with guests and make them feel welcome and comfortable
Answer phone calls and make reservations for guests
Monitor the dining room and ensure that all tables are clean and properly set up
Assist in seating guests during peak hours and maintain a waitlist
Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely service
Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner
Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menu changes, and promotions
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized entrance area and lobby
Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return in the future
Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a customer service role is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations with composure
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
