Position: DIY Instructor and Consultant

Job Description: Are you passionate about DIY projects and love to share your knowledge with others? Do you have a knack for teaching and enjoy helping people bring their creative ideas to life? If so, then we have an exciting opportunity for you!We are seeking a DIY Instructor and Consultant to join our team. As a DIY Instructor and Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting classes, workshops, and one-on-one consultations to teach individuals of all levels how to create DIY projects. You will also provide expert guidance and advice to clients who are looking to start their own DIY projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement DIY classes and workshops for individuals of all ages and skill levels.
• Create lesson plans, handouts, and visual aids to enhance the learning experience.
• Teach various DIY techniques such as woodworking, painting, crafting, and home improvement.
• Provide one-on-one consultations to clients and assist them in planning and executing their DIY projects.
• Stay up-to-date with new DIY trends and techniques to incorporate into classes and consultations.
• Collaborate with other DIY instructors and consultants to exchange ideas and improve teaching methods.
• Assist with marketing and promoting DIY classes and workshops to attract a larger audience.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure all materials and tools are readily available for classes and consultations.
• Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions from clients.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or training in DIY projects is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or instructing DIY projects.
• Strong knowledge and skills in various DIY techniques such as woodworking, painting, crafting, and home improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient and able to work with individuals of all ages and skill levels.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Creative and able to think outside the box.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient in using various tools and equipment for DIY projects.
• Flexible schedule, as some classes and consultations may be held on evenings and weekends.
