Job Title: Mortgage Broker

Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Mortgage Broker to join our team. As a Mortgage Broker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals and businesses secure their dream properties by providing expert advice and assisting with the mortgage application process. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires excellent communication skills, financial acumen, and a strong understanding of the real estate market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between clients and lenders to facilitate the mortgage application process
• Meet with clients to understand their financial goals and assess their eligibility for mortgage loans
• Provide expert advice on different mortgage options and help clients choose the best one that suits their needs
• Analyze and evaluate financial documents such as credit reports, income statements, and tax returns to determine the client's borrowing capacity
• Research and stay updated on current interest rates, lending policies, and government regulations related to mortgage loans
• Negotiate with lenders on behalf of clients to secure the best interest rates and terms for their mortgage loans
• Assist clients in filling out mortgage applications and gathering necessary documents for submission
• Communicate with clients throughout the loan process to provide updates and address any concerns or questions they may have
• Collaborate with real estate agents, lawyers, and other professionals involved in the home buying process to ensure a smooth and timely closing
• Maintain accurate and organized records of client information and loan details
• Continuously build and maintain relationships with lenders to expand the network and secure better deals for clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Broker or in a similar role
• Knowledge of mortgage lending laws, policies, and regulations
• Strong understanding of financial analysis and mortgage loan underwriting processes
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Ability to work independently and handle a high volume of clients and tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and mortgage loan software
• Must hold a valid mortgage broker license in the state of employment
