Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion. Your role will involve designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components, as well as overseeing the work of a team of mechanical engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from conceptualization to final design and implementation.
• Develop detailed design plans and specifications for mechanical systems and components, including calculations, drawings, and cost estimates.
• Conduct research and analysis to evaluate the feasibility, performance, and cost-effectiveness of new mechanical designs.
• Oversee the work of a team of mechanical engineers, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to ensure the successful integration of mechanical systems.
• Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of mechanical systems and components to ensure they meet design specifications and performance requirements.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and propose effective solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in mechanical engineering technology and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of engineers.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant technical tools.
