Job Title: Steel Fabricator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Steel Fabricator to join our team. As a Steel Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating, assembling, and installing various metal structures and components according to drawings and specifications. Your expertise in manipulating steel and other metals will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of our fabricated products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and plans to determine project requirements.
• Use various tools and equipment such as saws, drills, shears, and welders to cut, shape, and join steel and other metals.
• Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on metal surfaces using measuring tools.
• Operate and maintain machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspect fabricated products to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the fabrication process.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Steel Fabricator or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Extensive knowledge of different types of metal and their properties.
• Skilled in using various hand and power tools.
• Ability to accurately measure and mark dimensions on metal surfaces.
• Strong understanding of welding and other metal joining techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
