Position Title: Curriculum Specialist

Location: Crestwood Crestwood Science Institute

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop curriculum for various subject areas and grade levels
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in curriculum development and education
• Design and write curriculum that is engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with learning objectives
• Create and utilize assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of curriculum and make necessary revisions
• Ensure curriculum meets state and national standards, as well as the needs of diverse learners
• Develop and deliver training to teachers on utilizing the curriculum effectively
• Stay informed of changes in educational policies and standards and make necessary adjustments to curriculum
• Work with vendors and publishers to identify and purchase appropriate learning materials and resources
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote and market curriculum to potential clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an educational setting
• Strong understanding of learning theories, instructional design, and curriculum mapping
• Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to create engaging and effective learning materials
• Familiarity with state and national standards and their application in curriculum development
• Experience working with diverse learners and adapting curriculum to meet their needs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other curriculum design software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
