About the Job: Our hunting guide company is seeking highly skilled and experienced individuals to join our team as Hunting Guides. As a Hunting Guide, you will be responsible for leading groups of hunters on guided hunting trips in various locations. This is a physically demanding job that requires excellent hunting skills, knowledge of the local terrain, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead groups of hunters on guided hunting trips in designated hunting areas
• Ensure the safety of all guests by following proper hunting and safety protocols
• Provide expert knowledge and guidance on hunting techniques, local wildlife, and hunting regulations
• Set up and maintain hunting camps, including tents, cooking equipment, and other necessary supplies
• Plan and organize daily hunting itineraries based on the skill level and preferences of guests
• Track and identify animal tracks, behavior, and habitats to increase the chances of a successful hunt
• Assist guests with field dressing and processing of harvested animals
• Maintain and clean hunting equipment, including firearms, knives, and other gear
• Maintain accurate records of hunts and guest information
• Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating and addressing guests' needs and concerns
• Adhere to all hunting laws and regulations and maintain all necessary licenses and permits
• Act as a knowledgeable and friendly ambassador for our company, promoting our services and values to guests

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a hunting guide or in a similar role
• Extensive knowledge of hunting techniques, local wildlife, and hunting regulations
• Familiarity with the local terrain and weather conditions
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lead and work well in a team environment
• Physically fit and able to withstand long hours of hiking and carrying heavy loads
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Current hunting licenses and permits required for the designated hunting areas
• First aid and CPR certification preferred

Working Conditions: As a Hunting Guide, you will be working in remote and rugged outdoor environments, often in harsh weather conditions. This position requires long hours of hiking and carrying heavy gear, as well as the ability to handle and field dress large game animals. You must be comfortable working with firearms and have the physical stamina to withstand the demands of the job.
