Cheers Vine is seeking a dynamic and experienced Wine & Spirits Manager to join our team. As a leading retail company, we pride ourselves on providing our customers with the highest quality products and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a passionate individual who shares our values and can elevate our wine and spirits department to new heights.The Wine & Spirits Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring the timely and accurate ordering and stocking of products, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, as the manager will be responsible for leading a team of knowledgeable and enthusiastic wine and spirits associates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability of the wine and spirits department
• Source and select new products to add to the department's inventory, considering market trends and customer preferences
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable pricing and terms
• Train and develop wine and spirits associates on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques
• Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate and timely ordering of products
• Oversee the merchandising and presentation of products to maximize sales and create an inviting shopping experience
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency
• Conduct regular product tastings and events to educate customers and promote new products
• Collaborate with marketing team to create promotions and marketing campaigns for the wine and spirits department
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to make informed decisions for the department

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a wine and spirits management or buying role
• Strong knowledge of wine and spirits, including varietals, regions, and production processes
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Proven track record of driving sales and profitability in a retail environment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
