Position: Director of Non-Profit Development and Strategic Partnerships

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Non-Profit Development and Strategic Partnerships to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of fundraising strategies and building strategic partnerships to support the growth and sustainability of our non-profit organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-profit development, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a passion for making a difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support the organization's mission and goals
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and grant-making organizations
• Create and manage fundraising campaigns and events to increase donor engagement and revenue
• Research and apply for grants and oversee the grant writing process
• Develop and maintain a donor stewardship program to build and strengthen relationships with current and potential donors
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create materials and messaging for fundraising efforts
• Serve as the main point of contact for all donor inquiries and maintain accurate donor records
• Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders, businesses, and other strategic partners to expand the organization's reach and impact
• Actively participate in networking events and represent the organization at conferences and other external events
• Collaborate with the board of directors to develop and implement strategic plans for growth and sustainability
• Prepare and present reports and updates on fundraising efforts and partnership development to the board of directors and executive team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, business, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in non-profit development, fundraising, or partnership development
• Proven track record of successful fundraising and partnership development efforts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Experience in grant writing and managing donor databases
• Passion for the organization's mission and a strong understanding of the non-profit sector
• Ability to work independently and take initiative while also collaborating effectively with a team
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for fundraising events or other job-related activities
