Job Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of maintenance procedures, excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential maintenance issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure all equipment is in good working condition and to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and replacements.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations during maintenance activities.
• Train and supervise junior maintenance staff on proper maintenance procedures and techniques.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Vocational or Trade School certification in a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Specialist or similar role, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle physical workload and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using maintenance tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety and health regulations.
