Position Overview: As a Philanthropy Officer at HelpOurWorld Foundation, you will play a crucial role in supporting our fundraising efforts and building relationships with donors. You will collaborate with the Development team to create and implement strategies that will help us achieve our philanthropic goals. We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, and results-driven individual who is passionate about making a difference in the world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
• Conduct research on potential donors and create personalized cultivation plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, serving as their main point of contact and providing them with regular updates on the impact of their donations.
• Collaborate with the Development team to create fundraising campaigns and events.
• Identify new funding opportunities and partnerships to support our mission.
• Write compelling grant proposals and reports to secure funding from foundations and corporations.
• Manage a portfolio of donors, ensuring timely and accurate gift processing and acknowledgment.
• Work closely with the Communications team to create marketing materials and donor communications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in philanthropy and fundraising.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, preferably in the non-profit sector.
• Proven track record in soliciting and securing major gifts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with donors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and fundraising software.
• Passion for philanthropy and making a positive impact in the world.
