Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oil and Gas Production Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment at our oil and gas sites. You will work closely with other technicians and engineers to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain production equipment such as pumps, compressors, and valves to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as needed
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment
• Operate and maintain control systems and process automation equipment to regulate production processes
• Monitor and record production data, including pressures, temperatures, and flow rates
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations and company policies
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate production activities and address any issues or concerns
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, and report any issues or concerns to supervisors
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new production equipment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in oil and gas production operations
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of production equipment, processes, and systems in the oil and gas industry
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in the oil and gas industry
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work in remote locations and in all weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
