Job Title: Host/Hostess

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. This role is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests, while ensuring efficient and organized seating arrangements. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a warm smile and friendly demeanor
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Manage reservations and maintain accurate seating charts
• Monitor dining room flow and make necessary adjustments to ensure maximum occupancy
• Collaborate with servers to ensure efficient and timely service
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area
• Uphold company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
• Work closely with management to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate seating and timely food preparation
• Assist in training new host/hostess staff as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• A positive and outgoing personality
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of OpenTable or other reservation systems is a plus
