Position: Machinery Technician

Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machinery Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and optimizing our company's machinery and equipment. As a Machinery Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all machines and equipment are in proper working condition to support our daily operations. Your expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing and solving mechanical issues will be vital in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic issues with machinery and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and equipment, such as replacing worn parts, lubricating moving components, and adjusting settings.
• Utilize technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics to troubleshoot complex problems and determine the best course of action for repairs.
• Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement solutions to improve machinery performance and minimize downtime.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and upgrades performed on machinery and equipment.
• Order and maintain inventory of necessary replacement parts and equipment.
• Comply with all safety protocols and regulations while working on machinery and equipment.
• Train and mentor junior technicians to develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Machinery Technician or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing complex mechanical issues.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and be available for on-call duty.
