Position: Curriculum Development Specialist

Overview: As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating and enhancing educational materials for various learning programs. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to develop high-quality, engaging, and effective curriculum content that meets the needs of our target audience. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives, content, and delivery methods for various curriculum projects.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and relevancy of content.
• Develop and design curriculum materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and learning activities, that align with learning objectives and target audience needs.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance existing curriculum materials to ensure effectiveness and relevance.
• Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
• Incorporate technology and multimedia elements into curriculum materials to enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with the instructional design team to ensure consistency and alignment across all learning programs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in curriculum development and make recommendations for improvement.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to project timelines and budgets.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate changes into curriculum materials.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, functionality, and accessibility of curriculum materials.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an educational or training setting.
• Proven experience in developing curriculum materials for various learning programs, such as online courses, instructor-led training, and blended learning.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
• Proficient in using instructional design software, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia.
• Excellent research and writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience working with subject matter experts and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines is a plus.
• Passion for education and desire to continuously improve curriculum materials.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
