Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our legal department to review proposed legislation and provide recommendations on potential impact and necessary action.
• Prepare and present testimony at legislative hearings, representing our company's position.
• Develop and implement advocacy campaigns to support our company's policy priorities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on legislative issues and provide guidance to internal teams on relevant regulations and policies.

• Manage legislative budgets and ensure compliance with all lobbying and reporting requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in legislative affairs, government relations, or related field.
• Strong understanding of the legislative process and experience working with government officials and policymakers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful advocacy campaigns.
• Ability to analyze complex legislation and regulations and provide recommendations to internal teams.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of lobbying laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with the industry and issues related to our company's operations.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
