Position: Big Data Developer

Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Big Data Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Big Data Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's Big Data infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our Big Data platform, including data ingestion, processing, and storage
• Design and implement data models, schemas, and pipelines to support data requirements
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and enable data-driven decision making
• Optimize and tune existing data pipelines for better performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues and bugs in the Big Data infrastructure
• Continuously research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve data processing and storage
• Ensure data security and compliance with data privacy regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Big Data Developer or in a similar role
• Extensive knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL databases
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
