Job Title: Passenger Van Operator

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a highly reliable and responsible Passenger Van Operator to join our transportation team. As a Passenger Van Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers to their desired destinations. You will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the comfort and safety of our passengers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a passenger van in a safe and efficient manner, following all traffic laws and company policies and procedures
• Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations, ensuring timely arrivals and departures
• Assist passengers with getting on and off the van, and provide any necessary assistance during the ride
• Maintain a clean and organized van, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies and equipment
• Conduct routine safety checks on the van, reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate department
• Communicate effectively with passengers, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns
• Adhere to company schedules and routes, adjusting for unexpected delays or changes as needed
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts
• Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures in the event of an accident or breakdown
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks
• Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a passenger van or similar vehicle
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading luggage or assisting passengers with disabilities
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed

Working Conditions:

• This position requires long periods of sitting and driving, with occasional standing, walking, and lifting
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions and environments, including exposure to traffic noise and exhaust fumes
• May be required to work extended hours or overtime as needed
