Job Description: TechnoCraft Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Computer Hardware Technician to join our dynamic IT team. As a Computer Hardware Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing computer hardware, peripherals, and other related equipment. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all computer systems within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other computer peripherals
• Install and configure new hardware and software applications
• Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on existing computer systems
• Monitor and maintain inventory of computer equipment and supplies
• Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement solutions to improve system performance and user experience
• Provide technical support to end-users, both in-person and remotely
• Document and track all technical issues and resolutions in a ticketing system
• Train end-users on basic computer skills and troubleshoot common problems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest hardware and software technologies and make recommendations for improvements to the IT infrastructure
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry best practices, for data security and system maintenance
• Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Computer Hardware Technician or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, and operating systems, including Windows and Mac
• Familiarity with networking and troubleshooting network-related issues
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Industry certifications such as A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus
