Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Artisan Craftsman/Craftswoman to join our team. In this role, you will utilize your expert craftsmanship and artistic abilities to create unique and high-quality pieces of art and crafts. You will be responsible for designing, producing, and finishing various types of handcrafted items using a variety of traditional and modern techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use your artistic vision and creativity to design and produce one-of-a-kind art and craft pieces.
• Utilize various materials and techniques such as woodworking, metalworking, pottery, weaving, and painting to create unique and high-quality pieces.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide them with customized designs and products.
• Use your expertise in color theory, composition, and design principles to create aesthetically pleasing and well-balanced pieces.
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of your work to showcase your skills and attract potential clients.
• Stay updated on current trends and techniques in the art and craft industry to continuously improve your skills and expand your repertoire.
• Ensure quality and consistency in all your work, paying close attention to detail and using precise measurements and techniques.
• Adhere to project timelines and meet deadlines to ensure timely delivery of products to clients.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety guidelines and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Crafts, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Artisan Craftsman/Craftswoman.
• Proven track record of creating unique and high-quality art and craft pieces.
• Proficiency in a variety of techniques and materials such as woodworking, metalworking, pottery, weaving, and painting.
• Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and design principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce precise and accurate work.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work with different materials and techniques.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your work and skills.
