Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and passionate Furniture Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, excellent technical skills, and a passion for creating unique and functional furniture pieces. As a Furniture Designer, you will be responsible for all aspects of the design process, from concept development to final product creation. You will work closely with our design team, product development team, and project managers to bring your designs to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to create innovative and functional furniture designs that align with the company's brand and customer needs.
• Research current market trends and consumer preferences to develop new and unique designs.
• Create detailed sketches and 3D models of furniture concepts using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Develop prototypes and mock-ups of designs for product testing and evaluation.
• Work closely with the product development team to ensure that designs are feasible and can be produced within the given budget and timeline.
• Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain necessary materials and ensure the quality of the final product.
• Oversee the production process and provide guidance to ensure that the final product meets design specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Attend trade shows and industry events to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in furniture design.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in furniture design, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or SolidWorks.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to create detailed and accurate 3D models and prototypes.
• Excellent eye for design and the ability to create unique and innovative concepts.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and production costs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
