As a Postal Service Mail Carrier, you will play a crucial role in delivering mail to customers in a timely and efficient manner. You will be responsible for sorting and delivering mail to both residential and business addresses, while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and organize mail by route and delivery sequence
• Load mail into vehicle and plan the most efficient route for delivery
• Deliver mail to residential and business addresses accurately and on time
• Collect and deliver outgoing mail
• Obtain signatures for registered, certified and insured mail
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
• Complete any necessary paperwork or documentation
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from customers
• Report any suspicious or unusual activities during mail deliveries
• Operate a vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
• Adhere to all postal regulations and policies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy loads
• Familiarity with local streets and neighborhoods

Work Schedule: As a Postal Service Mail Carrier, you will typically work 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts. You may also be required to work on holidays depending on mail delivery schedules.
