Job Title: Agricultural Production Team Leader

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Agricultural Production Team Leader to join our dynamic team. As the leader of our agricultural production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our farming operations. You will oversee a team of skilled workers and work closely with management to ensure that our crops are produced efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of agricultural workers to ensure efficient and effective production of crops.
• Plan, organize and supervise daily farming activities in accordance with the overall production schedule.
• Ensure that all crops are planted, cultivated, and harvested in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitor and maintain the health and quality of crops, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
• Implement and maintain production processes and procedures to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Train and develop team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
• Oversee the use of machinery and equipment, ensuring they are well-maintained and operated safely.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure that production targets are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in our farming operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural production, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Solid understanding of farming operations, including planting, harvesting, irrigation, and pest control.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Physical ability to perform tasks required for farming, such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
