Position: Collections Manager
Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Collections Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Collections Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the collections process, managing a team of collectors, and developing strategies to improve collection efforts. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, strong analytical abilities, and a proven track record of success in collections management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement collection strategies to maximize recovery and minimize losses
- Manage a team of collectors, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Monitor and analyze collection data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Maintain relationships with external collections agencies and attorneys
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve complex collection issues
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to collections
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline the collections process
- Communicate with customers regarding delinquent accounts and negotiate payment plans
- Prepare and present reports to upper management on collection performance and strategies
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in collections management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in collections management
- Proven success in managing a team of collectors and improving collection efforts
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to collections

- Proficiency in MS Office and collections software
