Job Title: Network Administrator

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, administration, and security of our organization's computer networks. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain network systems, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and efficient data flow
• Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to network hardware and software, including patches and security updates
• Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configurations
• Manage network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions to meet business needs
• Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data
• Monitor network traffic and bandwidth usage to optimize network performance
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues
• Train and mentor junior network technicians on best practices and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with new network technologies and recommend enhancements to improve network performance and security

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network systems
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
• Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
• Deep understanding of network security principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are highly desired
