Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cassandra Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Cassandra Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's Cassandra database. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Cassandra database solutions for our company's applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data storage and retrieval needs
• Develop and optimize data models to meet performance and scalability requirements
• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues and provide timely resolutions
• Implement and maintain data security protocols to protect sensitive information
• Develop and maintain automated data backup and recovery processes
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of database solutions to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the Cassandra database technology
• Document database design, development, and maintenance processes and procedures
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members on database-related issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cassandra Developer or in a similar role
• Proven experience in designing and developing Cassandra databases
• In-depth knowledge of Cassandra architecture, data modeling, and query optimization
• Strong proficiency in Cassandra Query Language (CQL)
• Experience with Java programming and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Ruby
• Familiarity with database security protocols and data backup and recovery procedures
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
