As a Freight Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the transportation of goods from one location to another in an efficient and timely manner. You will work closely with our customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure the smooth and successful delivery of freight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods from origin to destination
• Communicate with customers to understand their delivery requirements and provide timely updates on the status of their shipments
• Negotiate rates with carriers to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions for our customers
• Schedule and track shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and resolving any delays or issues that may arise
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all shipments, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and customs documents
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper loading and unloading of freight and compliance with company policies and procedures
• Monitor and analyze transportation metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve our freight delivery processes
• Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing any concerns or inquiries from customers regarding their shipments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in freight transportation, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, modes, and routes
• Proficiency in using transportation management software and systems
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• A customer-centric approach with a strong commitment to providing high-quality service
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings, as needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
