Job Title: Data Modeler
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Modeler to join our dynamic team. As a Data Modeler, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data models to support our organization's data needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, database development, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data models for our organization's databases
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective data models
- Collaborate with data architects and database developers to ensure that data models are aligned with our organization's overall data strategy
- Conduct data analysis to identify data patterns and relationships to inform data model design
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and data lineage documentation for our data models
- Perform data validation and ensure data integrity within our databases
- Continuously monitor and optimize data models for improved performance
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data modeling and database development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data modeling and database development
- Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts, techniques, and tools
- Proficient in SQL and experience working with relational databases
- Experience with data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, ERwin, or PowerDesigner
- Familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines
