Job Title: Data Migration Developer

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Migration Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Migration Developer, you will be responsible for the successful transfer of data from various sources to our new system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand the existing data structures and formats
• Design and implement efficient and accurate data migration strategies
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data mapping and transformation requirements
• Conduct data cleansing and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Monitor and troubleshoot data migration processes, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise
• Validate and reconcile data between source and target systems
• Create and maintain documentation for all data migration processes and procedures
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data migration and integration

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data migration and integration
• Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash
• Familiarity with data mapping, data modeling, and data warehousing
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
