Job Title: Data Process Engineer
Job Description: As a Data Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our data processing systems. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines to ensure efficient and accurate data processing for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs
- Perform data quality checks and troubleshoot data issues to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability
- Create and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines and processes
- Monitor data processing jobs and proactively troubleshoot any failures or issues
- Identify opportunities for automation and implement tools to streamline data processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data processing and integration
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or data processing
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage
- Proficient in at least one scripting language such as Python, Perl, or Shell
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
