About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Services Manager to join our dynamic legal team. As the Legal Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all legal operations within the company. This is a key leadership role that requires exceptional communication, organizational, and management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise a team of legal professionals, including lawyers and paralegals, ensuring their timely and effective completion of tasks and projects
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline legal processes and enhance efficiency within the legal department
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management and department heads, to provide legal advice and support on a wide range of matters
• Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the company's interests and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Conduct legal research and provide guidance on complex legal issues to support business decisions
• Monitor and advise on changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company's operations and provide recommendations for compliance
• Oversee the management of legal disputes and litigation, including managing external counsel and developing strategies to minimize risks and costs
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as government agencies, law firms, and industry associations
• Manage the legal budget and resources to ensure cost-effective and efficient delivery of legal services
• Provide training and guidance to employees on legal matters, including compliance and risk management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field, with a strong academic record
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in a managerial or leadership position
• Excellent knowledge of laws and regulations related to the company's industry
• Proven experience in managing a team and delivering high-quality legal services in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
• Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
• Adaptable and open-minded, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Membership in the Bar Association is an asset
