Job Title: Facility Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of our company's facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management, with a focus on ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our facilities. The Facility Manager will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance and janitorial staff, as well as coordinating with external contractors and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement facility maintenance plans to ensure the safety and functionality of all company facilities
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities, including managing maintenance and janitorial staff, scheduling repairs and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
• Monitor and maintain facility budgets, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and negotiating contracts with external vendors
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for major repairs or renovations, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget
• Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans for all facilities
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs, as well as facility expenses
• Conduct regular training for staff on facility safety protocols and procedures
• Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices for facility management and make recommendations for improvements as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a corporate or commercial setting
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security
• Proven experience managing budgets and negotiating contracts
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as work collaboratively with other departments and external vendors
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of safety regulations and emergency preparedness protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
