Key Responsibilities:

Inspect incoming materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
Conduct thorough visual and functional tests on products to identify any defects or deviations from specifications
Record and maintain accurate quality control data and inspection results
Communicate any issues or concerns to the appropriate departments and collaborate on finding solutions
Identify and report any potential quality or safety hazards in the production process
Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures related to quality control
Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and processes
Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are met at every stage of the manufacturing process
Train and mentor new Quality Control Inspectors as needed
Continuously strive to improve the quality control process and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in quality control is preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of quality control procedures, standards, and regulations
Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control, Six Sigma, and lean methodologies
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and analyze defects or deviations
Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other computer applications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet production demands
Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
