Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement tourism strategies and initiatives to attract visitors and promote the destination
Conduct market research and analysis to identify current trends and demands in the tourism industry
Collaborate with government agencies and local communities to ensure sustainable and responsible tourism practices
Build and maintain relationships with various tourism stakeholders such as hotels, tour operators, and transportation companies
Develop and manage promotional campaigns to increase tourism awareness and attract visitors
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and adapt strategies accordingly
Monitor and analyze visitor feedback and make recommendations for improvement
Oversee the creation and distribution of tourism materials and information
Plan and coordinate tourism events and activities
Manage budgets and financial resources related to tourism initiatives
Train and educate local communities on the importance of sustainable tourism practices
Provide support and assistance to visitors, including resolving any issues or concerns
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and positive experience for visitors
Stay informed about local and international laws and regulations related to the tourism industry
Handle any emergencies or crises that may arise in the tourism sector

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the tourism industry
In-depth knowledge of tourism trends and practices, as well as local and international laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Fluent in multiple languages is a plus
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
