Job Title: Product Development Coordinator at Trending Goods

Trending Goods is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a leading provider of innovative and high-quality products, we are dedicated to staying ahead of the trends and providing our customers with the latest and most sought-after items.In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the development and launch of new products. You will work closely with the Product Development Manager to bring new ideas to life and ensure that our products meet the needs and expectations of our customers. This is a fast-paced and challenging position that requires someone who is organized, creative, and passionate about product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product Development Manager to identify new product opportunities and conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
• Develop product concepts and designs, considering factors such as target market, trends, pricing, and production feasibility.
• Create detailed product specifications and work with suppliers to source materials and prototypes.
• Coordinate product testing and gather feedback from focus groups or consumer panels.
• Work with suppliers to negotiate pricing, timelines, and quality standards for production.
• Manage the product development process, ensuring that deadlines are met and all stakeholders are informed of progress.
• Conduct competitive analysis and monitor market trends to identify potential gaps and opportunities for product improvement.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to create product launch plans and promotional strategies.
• Assist with product packaging design and development, ensuring that it aligns with brand standards and effectively communicates product features.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all product development activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Product Development, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in product development, preferably in a retail or consumer goods environment.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behavior.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to think outside the box.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and product development software.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
