Key Responsibilities:

Researching and identifying potential suppliers and vendors for luxury jewelry pieces
Building and maintaining relationships with existing and new suppliers
Negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure the best deals for the company
Continuously monitoring market trends and staying updated on the latest luxury jewelry collections
Conducting market analysis and competitor research to identify gaps and opportunities in the market
Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for promoting and selling luxury jewelry collections
Attending trade shows and events to network with suppliers and stay updated on industry trends
Conducting quality control checks on all jewelry pieces to ensure they meet our company's standards
Managing inventory levels and making purchasing decisions based on sales trends and customer demand
Ensuring timely delivery of orders and resolving any issues or delays with suppliers
Maintaining accurate records of all purchases, pricing, and supplier information
Ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Luxury Jewelry Buyer in the luxury retail industry
Proven track record of successfully sourcing and purchasing high-end jewelry collections
In-depth knowledge of luxury jewelry market trends and industry standards
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel for trade shows and supplier visits
