We are currently seeking a Travel and Tourism Coordinator to join our team and assist in planning and coordinating all aspects of our travel and tourism programs.As the Travel and Tourism Coordinator, you will be responsible for researching, organizing, and coordinating all travel arrangements for our clients. This includes booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities, as well as creating detailed itineraries and handling any necessary paperwork and documentation. You will also be the main point of contact for clients and will be responsible for addressing any questions or concerns they may have before, during, and after their trip.In addition to coordinating travel arrangements, you will also be responsible for creating and managing partnerships with various travel vendors and suppliers. This will involve negotiating contracts and rates, as well as continuously researching new and exciting destinations and experiences to offer to our clients.To be successful in this role, you must have a strong passion for travel and a deep knowledge of the tourism industry. You should also have excellent organizational and time-management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as you will be working closely with clients, vendors, and other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, organize, and coordinate all travel arrangements for clients
• Create detailed itineraries and handle necessary paperwork and documentation
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
• Negotiate contracts and rates with travel vendors and suppliers
• Continuously research and discover new destinations and experiences to offer to clients
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and successful trip planning and execution
• Monitor and manage travel budgets and expenses
• Handle any changes or issues that may arise during trips, providing quick and effective solutions
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in travel coordination or a similar role
• Strong passion for travel and extensive knowledge of the tourism industry
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and travel booking systems
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle unexpected challenges
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed
