About the Role: As a Student Services Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional support and guidance to students throughout their academic journey. You will be responsible for assisting students with various aspects of their college experience, from enrollment to graduation. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for students, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Guide students through the enrollment process, including admissions, financial aid, and registration.
• Conduct one-on-one advising sessions with students to discuss their academic progress, course selection, and career goals.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement programs that support student success.
• Manage student records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist in the coordination of orientation and other campus events for students.
• Stay up-to-date on college policies, procedures, and programs to provide accurate information to students.
• Identify at-risk students and refer them to appropriate resources for support.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills related to student services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in student services or a related role.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Knowledge of higher education policies and procedures.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and student information systems.
