Position: Tobacco Product Development Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tobacco Product Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new tobacco products and improving existing ones to meet the ever-changing demands of the market. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in driving innovation and delivering high-quality products to our consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of new tobacco products from concept to launch, ensuring that they meet consumer needs, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Research and Development, Marketing, Sales, and Quality Assurance to drive product development projects forward.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for new products.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
• Utilize your knowledge of tobacco regulations to ensure that all products meet legal requirements and comply with industry standards.
• Conduct product testing and analysis to assess product performance, quality, and consumer satisfaction.
• Continuously monitor product performance and make recommendations for improvements or modifications as needed.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and product innovations to drive continuous improvement and maintain a competitive edge.
• Provide technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams and external partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development, preferably in the tobacco industry.
• Extensive knowledge of tobacco products, ingredients, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong understanding of FDA regulations and industry standards related to tobacco products.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and launching new products.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
