Key Responsibilities:

Transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely and safe manner
Operate commercial vehicles, such as tractor-trailers and flatbed trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
Communicate with dispatchers and supervisors to coordinate delivery schedules and report any delays or issues
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation regulations
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of the truck as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in driving large trucks
Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
Ability to handle and transport goods safely
Familiarity with trucking regulations and safety protocols
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
Strong communication and time management skills
Excellent physical stamina and hand-eye coordination
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel long distances
