Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Python Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. As a Principal Python Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions using Python. You will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of new features and enhancements to our existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and efficient Python code for complex software systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications
• Lead the technical design and architecture of new software systems and enhancements
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices, coding standards and troubleshoot issues
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the Python ecosystem and actively contribute to the improvement of our development processes
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner
• Participate in the full development cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Continuously optimize existing code to improve performance and scalability

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Python
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems using Python
• Proficient in popular Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Pyramid
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures
• Experience with database design and query optimization using SQL or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
