Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the design team to develop concepts and designs for textile products such as fabrics, wallpapers, and home furnishings
Research and analyze current market trends to create designs that are relevant and appealing to our target audience
Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create digital versions of designs for production purposes
Develop and maintain a library of patterns, colors, and textures to be used in future designs
Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for production teams to follow
Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are accurately translated onto finished products
Attend trade shows and industry events to stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in textile design
Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and incorporate their feedback into the design process
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field
Proven experience as a Textile Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of designs and techniques
Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Strong understanding of color theory, pattern making, and textile production processes
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment
Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
A creative and innovative mindset with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and techniques
Ability to adapt to changing design trends and client needs
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards in all designs
