Position Summary: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and responsible Postal Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Postal Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for timely and accurate delivery of mail and packages to designated locations. The ideal candidate will have excellent time-management skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport mail and packages to designated locations
• Sort and organize mail and packages for efficient delivery
• Plan and execute delivery routes in a timely and efficient manner
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering mail and packages with a friendly and professional attitude
• Collect and process payments from customers for postage and other services
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, payments, and other related data
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any issues or repairs needed
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth and timely delivery operations
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a delivery driver or similar role
• Knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and safety regulations
• Ability to read and understand maps and GPS systems
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy objects
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays, if needed

Working Conditions:

• This position requires frequent driving and delivery of mail and packages in various weather conditions
• May be required to work overtime during peak periods
• Must be able to handle and lift heavy objects on a regular basis
• May be required to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Must adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate protective gear when necessary
