About the role: As an Azure Engineer at BuildPro Construction, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Azure infrastructure. You will work closely with our development, operations, and security teams to ensure that our cloud environment is secure, scalable, and efficient. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services, as well as knowledge of best practices and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Azure infrastructure that meets the needs of our applications and services
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, recommend solutions, and implement changes
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance and security issues in the Azure environment
• Develop and maintain documentation for Azure infrastructure, including diagrams and runbooks
• Automate processes and tasks using Azure Automation, PowerShell, and other tools
• Implement security controls and best practices to ensure the security and compliance of our Azure environment
• Monitor and manage costs associated with Azure services
• Stay up-to-date with new Azure features and services and make recommendations for their implementation
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Azure services
• Strong understanding of Azure IaaS and PaaS offerings
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as PowerShell, Azure Automation, and ARM templates
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in Azure
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD processes
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-103, and AZ-300 are highly preferred
• Experience with other cloud providers such as AWS or Google Cloud is a plus
