Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as the Dean of Education. As the Dean, you will be responsible for leading and managing the academic programs within the education department. Your role will involve setting strategic direction, overseeing curriculum development, and managing faculty and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic plan for the education department in alignment with the overall goals of the institution.
• Oversee curriculum development, ensuring that it is current, relevant, and meets industry standards.
• Lead and manage a team of faculty and staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of education programs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence, diversity, and student success.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for growth and improvement within the education department.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of faculty and staff, providing feedback and implementing professional development plans as needed.
• Develop and manage the budget for the education department, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in education, and incorporate them into the curriculum and teaching methods.
• Represent the education department in meetings and events, both internally and externally.

Qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Education or a related field.
• Previous experience in a leadership role within an educational institution.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership and management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with accreditation standards and processes.
• Experience with budget management.
