Information Security Analyst

Job Title: Information Security AnalystWe are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our growing team. As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting our company's sensitive data and systems from cyber threats. You will be responsible for identifying potential security risks, implementing security measures, and responding to security incidents. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in our systems and networks
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the protection of data and systems
• Monitor security logs and alerts to identify and respond to potential security incidents
• Work closely with the IT team to implement security controls and best practices in the design and development of new systems and applications
• Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks
• Participate in incident response activities, including containment, investigation, and recovery
• Collaborate with external security vendors and consultants to ensure the effectiveness of our security measures
• Assist in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security, preferably in a corporate environment
• Strong knowledge of security principles, protocols, and best practices
• Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection
• Knowledge of network and web-related protocols and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, HTTPS, SSL)
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and techniques
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus
