Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curriculum Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and evaluating our educational curriculum. You will work closely with our instructional team to ensure that our curriculum aligns with our educational goals and meets the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and revise curriculum documents, lesson plans, and instructional materials to support student learning and achievement.
• Design and implement curriculum frameworks, standards, and assessments.
• Conduct research on best practices in curriculum development and instructional strategies.
• Collaborate with instructional staff to identify areas of improvement in the curriculum and make necessary changes.
• Review and analyze student performance data to identify areas for curriculum improvement.
• Train and support instructional staff on the use of curriculum materials and strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and make recommendations for improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in education and incorporate them into the curriculum.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to enhance the curriculum.
• Ensure that curriculum materials are accessible and appropriate for all students, including those with special needs.
• Work with the instructional team to ensure that the curriculum meets state and national standards.
• Collaborate with other Curriculum Specialists to share best practices and resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in curriculum development.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum design principles, methods, and best practices.
• Familiarity with state and national education standards.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others and lead in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in technology and experience with educational software and learning management systems.
