Position: Supply Chain Manager for Consumer Goods

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations for our consumer goods company. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers. This is a high-impact role that requires strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
• Manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Analyze market trends and consumer demand to forecast product demand and plan procurement accordingly.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and marketing teams to develop and implement product launch plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve supply chain issues.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on supply chain performance.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to supply chain management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing supply chain strategies that drive cost savings and improve efficiency.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of supply chain management software and systems, such as SAP or Oracle, is preferred.
• Certification in supply chain management, such as APICS or CSCMP, is a plus.
