Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Rental & Leasing Agent. In this role, you will be responsible for managing rental and leasing activities for our properties, including marketing, showing units, screening potential tenants, and negotiating leases. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of the real estate market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage rental and leasing activities for our properties, including marketing, showing units, screening potential tenants, and negotiating leases.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants, utilizing both traditional and digital marketing methods.
• Conduct market research to stay informed on current rental rates and trends, and adjust pricing accordingly.
• Show available units to potential tenants and provide information on the property, amenities, and lease terms.
• Screen potential tenants by reviewing applications, conducting background and credit checks, and verifying employment and income.
• Negotiate lease terms and prepare lease agreements in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting unit inspections and documenting any damages.
• Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with maintenance and cleaning staff to ensure all units are in top condition for viewing and move-in.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all rental and leasing activities, including tenant information, lease agreements, and rental payments.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with a proven track record of success in a customer service or sales role.
• Previous experience in the real estate or property management industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the rental market, including current rental rates and trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with tenants and colleagues.
• Proven ability to effectively market and lease properties, with a strong understanding of both traditional and digital marketing methods.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
