About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Derivatives Specialist to join our team at InvestEdge Capital Markets. As a Derivatives Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and executing derivative transactions and providing expertise in the area of financial derivatives. You will work closely with the trading team and other departments to ensure successful hedging and risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and manage derivative transactions, including futures, options, swaps, and other complex products.
• Analyze market trends and provide insights on potential trading opportunities.
• Monitor and manage risk exposure, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with the trading team to develop and implement hedging strategies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and alignment of derivative strategies with overall business objectives.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and regulations related to derivatives trading.
• Provide support and training to junior team members on derivative trading and risk management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in derivatives trading and risk management.
• In-depth knowledge of financial derivatives and their applications.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of successful execution of derivative transactions.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using trading platforms and financial software.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance related to derivatives trading.
